This Kharita™ was created in French by Rémy Hausermann in 1899. It shows the catholic missions carried out in east Africa, specifically, Egypt, Abyssinia, Sudan, parts of Arabia, Belgian Congo and other countries along the Nile river. (key can be seen on the map under title)

These missions were carried out in order to spread Catholicism all over the world and still exist exist to this day.
